What on this site is irritating my virus scanner?

This site is causing my virus scanner to light up like a christmas tree since the begining of the year....

The reason it gives is HTML/spoofing.gen

Do I need to change a setting somewhere?

Thanks for reporting this.

The alert you are receiving would typically be triggered when you have been sent to a site that is attempting to impersonate another site (usually in an effort to retrieve information). As you have both posted on FT, it would appear the alert is being triggered in error.

Most likely, some piece of code in one of the ads running on FlyerTalk is falsely triggering the alert. If it is an ad, and we can figure out which one, we can resolve the issue.

If you receive the scanner report again, please snap a screen shot of the page you are on and post it here or send it to me at [email protected].

Thanks.
