Executive class catering
Just like other airlines' forums have, I thought it could be useful and fun to create a thread on business class catering. Let me start with LIS-MPM this month:

I'm struggling to figure out what that last plate is, 3 photos up - the main dish between the veggies. I probably won't be able to get a business upgrade/bid up seat, but I'm looking anyway. So thanks for the photos. Guess I'll need to use a translation app on board. Is Wifi really free on TAP - in Economy as well as Business?

Only texting via whatsapp or facebook messenger is free. You can find the plans here: https://www.flytap.com/en-pt/on-board/connectivity. They're the same for Y and for C. I think the prices vary according to the flight duration.

Plus the cabin crew will speak perfect English and will be able to explain exactly what is in there, and can handle any allergy related issues. Grouper is very popular in Portugal since it's one of the main catches of their fisherman. It's similar to sea bass and as here quickly baked in butter and other sauces.

I have to admit to having been impressed on my TP LIS-MUC yesterday evening. Catering was excellent, the steak was pink and juicy and service was friendly, attentive and professional.

Octopus with mash, and shrimp cocktail. Tastes A LOT better than it looks. Probably the best meal I've had on a flight so far. Great selection of sherbet, great cheese. Shame they didn't have salty snacks on board.
