Since the Talkboard is now taking on "sections" of FT, can you look at either updating the Town Hall section or deleting it?

It has not been updated for years... and just using up dead space.

Is there any reason why the Town Hall section has gone unloved for so long? Would be great to see it revived.

An update to show current TB members and a check to ensure that e-mails sent through the links still arrive to a 'live' receipient would be a good start.

Other issues:
1. I have submitted a couple of applications through the Town Hall links but have never received any feedback to indicate they were received by anyone still with FT. Lost? I can't tell!
2. Generally, links to send messages as e-mails to FTers. I seem to have trouble sending messages through FT- in several cases now, when I 'send an e-mail' it does not get to the recipient. That happened to a couple of e-mails I sent to FTers as well as through Town Hall, IIRC.

Before I PM our TalkBoard, does anyone else have an interest in FT's Town Hall?

If it was kept up to date, it would be a very handy contact point, for FTers to quickly find out who is on this year's TalkBoard, who moderates/volunteeers for each forum and for a lot of other info.

It has been almost five months since this was discussed as a current TalkBoard Topic.

Does anyone (other than ourselves in this thread) care about this useful contact information and the FT Town Hall, in general?

It would be a lot less hassle than trolling through forums and threads, which is how I do it now, to remember who does what here.

That 'showgroups' link is going to be as good substitute for Town Hall most of the time. Thanks, KiwiFlyer.

I think I'll try to forget that Town Hall existed as it's useless if it is 2004 information. (Please disregard this thread if you find the link above substitutes for the Town Hall page).

The 'show forum leaders' link is a great directory for any FT member seeking help. ^

The list of Talkboard Members in the Town Hall is outdated and wrong.

Not sure who has accountability to update.

Thanks, BiziBB. FYI, the TB and the TB Topics forum mods are working to revamp the sticky at the top of this forum to do a better job of explaining what the TB is, how it works and who is on it. Should be done in a couple days max.
