Yes, I don't believe that anyone should be allowed to serve more than two terms in a row. FlyerTalk needs a TalkBoard that constantly gets an injection of new blood.
It is the reason that I announced during the last election that if I won I would not run again.
Other than that, I would only be in favor of getting rid of a TB member who was given a lifetime ban which was upheld by Randy -- and that has never happened.

TB Requirements...
I originally started this thread after signing of another Internet Bulletin Board for Boaters where everyone is assumed to be a boat owner/operator. But there is nothing that states that.
I looked at the TB and thought that a TB member for a Flyer travel board at least ought to be in the business. That was the intent.
We were derailed into other restrictions, suspensions, etc. but the intent was to be certain that the TB members really traveled. In retrospect, the OP could have been worded much better and after thinking about it, having a member who didn't travel that much but was intimately involved in a points/miles program for an airline/hotel would certainly be beneficial.
Diclaimer: I did want to bump this thread and highlight the fact that it is not related to the recently defeated OMNI motion.

I agree. Either submission of a statement of passing a test of one's preferred program(s) should be required to be able to become a TB member.
