Serious need for structured Priceline area

There are a few sour apples folks that love to rant and criticize Sheryl and team at BiddingforTravel.com, however until there is a structured Priceline area, there will be no alternative.

This is what's needed:
Hotels section, by states
Airfare section, by airports
Car Rental section, by airports
FAQs for all

If that's not the direction this board is going, then there should be a sticky at the top of the Travel Bidding section directing people looking for specific Priceline bidding to somewhere they can get that information.

Regarding the biting personal attacks on the moderators of another board, while I am all in favor of free speech, I think allowing these constant character assasinations reflects poorly on this board and all the fine things that happen here.

Do we really need to replicate what already exists on Bidding for Travel and Better Bidding? I'm pretty happy with those boards, and you'll see many an FT thread referring users to them.

I agree. Why reinvent the wheel?

Furthermore, properly moderating a travel bidding board requires a lot of time and effort. There have been a few threads posted in the Travel Bidding forum that described bids won, but LEFT OUT essential information such as dates (!), bidding strategy, and other important details. So the info posted wasn't really that useful.

Oh, by the way, this is not a new idea either. It keeps coming up over and over but nothing is happening, probably because the resources to do it just aren't there, and there are other boards that already do a decent job ot if. Evidently the OP of this thread is new and unaware of the history behind it.

Agree with the last 2 posts.

Nothing new here.
