Yes, sadly, Rudi tendered his resignation from the TalkBoard, as I recall in early December!

Sadly (for me) Rudi left the TalkBoard in early December. His resignation occurred just a few days after svpii and Dorian had posted their resignations.
I tried very hard to remain on TalkBoard but finally resigned myself a week or so ago. Here is the post announcing my resignation:
"My beloved brother, Rudi, wrote:

* I see very little influence/effect/outcome of our discussions on TalkBoard
* In my guess, more than half of our efforts were 'eaten' by personal internal problems between us TalkBoard-members
* I judge my (hopefully positive) influence on FlyerTalk more effective as a continuing 'free' FlyerTalk-contributor not partially (self-imposed) 'hindered' in those 'activities' by my 'official' TalkBoard membership.
* FlyerTalk, since it started, was for me mostly (98%) also fun - this TalkBoard discussions and, as I feel it, the agressivity some of these discussions were held, are no fun at all for me.
I should have known better from the start.
I just overestimated my capacity to be a helpful TalkBoard member under such (misjudged by me) circumstances and I decided to resign with immediate effect.
Please Randy accept my apologies for my misjudgements in the past, I thank you for the trust you showed in me by appointing me a TalkBoard member and I wish you, my remaining TalkBoard-colleagues and all FlyerTalkers all the best.
You still have all my ongoing support on the FlyerTalk Board.

and his adoring sister, says ditto!"
