The entry period closes at 10pm tonight Internet Brands time.

Tomorrow, I'll get out instructions to the candidates. It's going to be pretty much what was voted on by Talkboard a few years back:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/talkb...-election.html

Then, I'll post some questions in the Talkboard Elections 2012 forum. That forum is read only for everyone except the candidates and me.

The ballot is up to 28 as of right now.

I'm number 29. May the best four win!

(The main reason I made this post is I was hoping to see what IB time is, but then I realized that we set our timezone in our preferences, so what shows for me is Eastern, not IB time. I had been proceeding on the assumption that "through November 1" couldn't mean any time before 12 midnight Eastern.)

Congratulations, FTers, for stepping up to volunteer for leadership positions in the community. Let the PAC floodgates open!

I prefer to cut out the whole PAC middle-man: just PM me UA ecerts if you'd like to bribe me. :D

Internet Brands is based in Los Angeles, near spitting distance from LAX.

Applications have now been disabled.

I don't find any rule against that!!!! @:-)

Only if you're a "Candidate of size" :D

I have also joined the fray, and hope we can have a honest debate and even have a little fun along the way! Looking forward to it!

Good luck to all TB candidates (including me of course :D), and thanks for being willing to serve to continute to make FT a great resource to travelers.

Cheers.

Just a reminder -- my votes cannot be directly bought, but I can be easily influenced.

Good luck to all the candidates and looking forward to seeing some of you on next year's TB.

Yikes, I go offline for most of a weekend, to run wild through Amish country, and come back to see I've missed a lot of questions!!! :)

Loaded question. All I know is that I'm not running. :)

Are we really expected to vote for a woman who runs wild through Lancaster County corrupting the innocent Amish?

At least you know it'll be a fun ride! :D

Besides, I paid the Amish during my only interaction with them over the weekend. :D
