Interline Transfer at LHR Advice
Any advice/help is appreciated with the following scenario:
I am travelling from JFK-LHR on Delta in Business class, and then from LHR-ZRH on Swiss in Economy (very strange booking, I know).
My question is how long will I need between flights, and what will my baggage allowances be on the LX flight? DL has told me that they have an interline agreement with LX, and therefore, I would not need to claim baggage in LHR (can anyone confirm?). If that is the case, is there anything I need to do on the LX side to ensure that my bags and myself make my connection? I have 2 hours between the flights.
Thanks,
Flyinglots

Do you have one or two tickets to do this. If all the segments are on one ticket, it should not be the problem to check the bags thru. Otherwise, I would just try to ask at the NYC check-in counter.
Last year, I was lucky enough to check my bags thru from a LH TATL flight to a BA CE connection.
