Sorry, but there are no additional first class benefits ex BKK.

On the other side, TG also axed the limo service

Just a few weeks after the opening of the new airport

(I went from downstairs to upstairs and back until they told me at the F-check-in that it does no longer exist)

No limo, but was assisted both upon arrival and departure dealing with ground formalities (on arrival we had a chauffeured buggy to passport control!) and this was a SIN-BKK-SIN run in May. For further info check out my trip report.

just a quick follow up.

sitting in the TG F lounge now, there was indeed someone escorting me thru immigration. she directed me to the diplomatic line but we could have used any other counter as well since there was no lines at all. after passport control she asked if i wanted to do some duty free shopping, which i declined. we went straight to the TG lounge then, where she brought me all the way to the seat i chose. very nice service...

AFAIK departing LX F pax are not entitled to use the Spa, even if booked on the TG codeshare. Correct?

Are there any good deals in F SIN-BKK-SIN. I will need to fly this route later this year and have seen very competitive prices in J (well Z actually) but nothing enticing in F. Do LX not discount F on this sector?

Question of perspectives - from an LX point of view I was on the TG codeshare (LX flight number and tkt but TG metal) - whatever, never mind, I enjoyed the massage and TG's a340 is very nice!

thats what you would call a LX codeshare, since it was a LX number, but TG metal...

I was booked in C on SIN-BKK and got an op-up to F which was quite nice and explained by the status and the quick hop. I already asked for it at check-in and the lady said that she'll make a note. So if you ask nicely as well you might succeed.

I suspect the odds of an upgrade for 2 are rather more remote and I do not think I could cope with the evil stares from Mrs L-o-M in the lounge
