Waitlisted for A class

Waitlisted for A class
I've been waitlisted for about a month now for 2 seats in A inventory GRU-ZRH, travelling in March.
My TA insists that A availability is showing up consistently as 0, yet when using the KVS Availability Tool on either ITN or Sabre, availability shows as 2.
My TA also claims to have asked LX several times if they would consider releasing 2 A class seats.
What's going wrong here?

Have you checked using Galileo?

Yes, Galileo (like ITN, Sabre and whatever expertflyer uses) are all agreed that A inventory is 2 on the date I want to travel. Yet both my TA and LX (who I've just called) maintain it's F6 A0.
A telesales rep at LX kindly ventures that if I waitlisted in A, the inventory would likely clear "within days" of a ticket number being issued in the booking. A month on, this still hasn't happened.
