new swiss website up and running

Just checked it out. My comments:
1. Looks nice, but the old one didn't look bad either. Unfortunately it's not really any faster to navigate.
2. Still VERY many broken links to fix. I wonder if they did any testing before taking it live.
3. It is now possible (again, Swissair always had this) to book by the cheapest fare +/- 7 days from requested date. I suspect it doesn't work right, however. I didn't get the Swiss Europe Savers when I tried for Hamburg. (Didn't go into detailed verification of this though.)
4. It is really a shame there is still no online check-in or online seat-map ...
5. Under swiss.com/bestprice there is a more detailed description of the new european meal concept. Menu card is here: http://www.swiss.com/bestprice/image...onomy-menu.pdf
6. I will pay 10 CHF for breakfast and 15 CHF or lunch / dinner. If I can always fly for 100.- or 200.- to Hamburg I think this concept is really not bad. It looks like the food will actually be quite good. "Focaccia" and "Farmer's salade" should be alright.
7. Unfortunatly it looks like the excellent "Appenzeller Bier" will be gone soon. This is definitely a big disappointement.

I agree with f4free, nice to see the "book by price" engine back on. I've been told by a LX agent a while ago that the Europe Savers will be faded out since all European operations are becoming "low cost" anyway.
I am not sure if I am willing to pay these prices in Y... One thing that comes to mind: I have made a booking for a flight to LHR in November before the "pay for food" program was announced. Shouldn't I therefore get a free meal on this flight(since I booked believing that the fare would include catering)?
And one more detail: The Destination Excellence site now says that the next 2 A340s will be introduced in October and November only.

Since dark cloudies are comming back in swiss sky,
I don't book any flight more. Once I'm affraid to be in the impossibility to come back; twice swiss could be intersting for long hauls only if high in-flight services and conditions are really offer.They doesn't take this way !!!! And I'm affraid too to have waiting of a impossible alliance with LH or One World. So , now i'm shure that this all is now going to end. Overall I hate low cost comp.

and its european network. Now it's far away. Stupids swiss !
