HON circle event Montreux Jazz Festival

Hi guys

End of May I received a very nice invitation from LX to attend the jazz festival on July 15th, including gala dinner, 5 star hotel etc. I tried to register maybe 5 days later as I was busy travelling through the US. Unfortunately by then already too many other guests registered and I was apparently too late .
Good luck for those of you who were faster than me. Hope you enjoy a nice day .

Got an invitation with a confirmed seat for the Locarno film festival in AUG. Anyone else going?
I am not sure yet as I actually was supposed to be in Asia that week but things can still change.

When you are a HON based in Poland you are receiving nothing at all so you all should be happy with any invitations etc...

There is stuff, but there will be FTL who are better customers, hence no invites.
Change your address to another country. Office?

hi guys

couple of information that LX shared during that event:
Several LX ExCo members were present including the CFO

- LX will announce 2 maybe 3 additional longhaul destinations by the end of this year
- LX will continue to offer First on all longhaul planes. The cabin will feature 5 seats.
- LX sees a very strong demand for C and F, but it's not clear to them whether that demand will remain or is inflated by post covid travels
- They would like to offer up to 12 F seats on certain flights while zero on others. Hence the balance of 5.
- Number of HON in Switzerland. I won't share it here but it's higher than I expected (350).
- 90% of HON in general are men. That was also represented in the number of the total 20 guests who were invited
- LX hosts 3 physical events for HON in Switzerland. 1) Lauberhorn 2) Montreux Jazz and 3) Locarno Filmfestival. In addition to that, online talks are organized sporadically
- Dynamic award redemptions are coming, are already tested on select routes
- They understood the frustration that the availabilty of F redemptions is poor and are thinking about giving each HON the chance to redeem F once per year. But M&M is involved there
- a new customer grading software is in place/tested since Spring. It considers multiple factors such as a) revenue: past revenue and potential future earnings from a customer b) hierarchy/influence in the company he works for etc. Software still needs to be trained as far as I understood
- They realize that an important number of SEN are much bigger spenders than certain HON and want to pay more attention to them in the future
- The bandwith of spend per HON is huge
- They invited us to share our experience directly with them (ExCo) in case of service / frustration issues
- We mentioned to them the lack of (useful) PA at certain destinations e.g. ORD

I am sure there was more but I have not always been talking to them since there were other interesting guests at the event.

Well 5 pax F cabin is interesting. Maybe they are scapping the 3 seat design...

I'm sure they are reffering to YUL or BOS with the 0 seat mention Such a short flight for F service.

New destinations I presume are KIX and IAD, which would have launched right during Covid

an uneven amount of F seats seems weird.

Anything to get 5 would be good, except squeezing 3 people into the middle seat
