SFO First lounge
I couldn‘t find a newer info about the lounge situation in SFO. I will depart from there in First by LX. Is the UA Polaris lounge the recommended option? And is there a pick-up from the lounge to the departure gate?

The Polaris lounge would be my choice, as the only alternative is the rather basic UA Club.

There is no pick-up from the lounge. And the Polaris lounge is the best lounge option, but often very busy around the departure time of LX39.

The restaurant section is particularly busy and often has a long line/list. Still much better than anything else in the terminal.

Here's the menu of the Polaris lounge in SFO where LX sends its C, F and HON pax.

Really ? You can get into polaris lounge as a HON in Economy with LX?

Nope, status is irrelevant, you have to fly J or F.

I stand corrected. Must have unintentionally assumed, that there are no HON in longhaul Y 😉.
