DXB F/HON: New “First Class Lounge Ahlan” access

As SEN on (paid) LX F tix escorted to security (they opened a new lane for us 3). Ahlan F lounge access + 1 guest (on same flight). At LH lounge 2 guests are allowed they said.

Same experience here: SEN in F with one guest escorted to security which was a big timesaver. At checkin I specifically asked for Ahlan lounge because I did not trust access was automatic. I compared to the LHSEN lounge and it was no comparison with SEN lounge jammed full with scarcely a seat free, while Ahlan was a relative oasis of tranquility. I had read somewhere that Ahlan close at midnight, but the front desk informed me that it is 24x7 so not need to switch lounge before the late Swiss departure.

I did get caught out with checkin. Went to airport at 9pm, 5 hours before departure but had to wait until 3.5-4 hours before for checkin to open. DXB checkin hall is NOT a fun place to hang out - really overcrowed and nowhere to sit.
