Agreed. Good ingredients, good preparation and good service.

Speaking of comfort food, the Swiss hot dog is no longer on the menu. That was a good sausage, but the bread was far too thick and chewy; I ate everything but the bread. It looked much smaller on the photo than in reality:

To me, real comfort food would be the same sausages on some creamy mashed potatoes. Would also solve your bread problem.

I have a 7h layover in early March and would like to go to downtown Zurich for a few hours. Can I leave my carry-on luggage in the F Lounge in A? I forgot if there are lockers available in the lounge.

These pics look great. Just convinced me to get to the airport wayyy early in 2 weeks before my flight to MUC (connecting there in F). Sounds like skipping BF at the hotel and heading straight to FCL E is advisable

Also, it's not clear what time you can/will be at the lounge but if it's in the morning (certainly early morning), keep in mind they may not serve the non-breakfast items before 11 am/noon, which I suspect are the items that you're looking for. It's a matter of luck/availability of the ingredients/willingness of the chef/staff to do it.
Also, flying to MUC, going to the FCL E isn't ideal but I assume you know that and are willing to do it because it's much nicer. By the way, note that I have had better results in FCL A with getting the lunch/dinner food in the am than in FCL E.

Yes, food is the same & going to MUC not worth the trek over to E or more the trek back on Heidi train.
