SFO IFL accesss for LX First?

I know its the first day but the IFL should have expected some pax for this flight
Any news on this topic by anyone? I will be on SFO-ZRH next week for the first time and I'm curious, if the IFL guards will decline access for me. The RCC there is a clear no-go area, whereas the IFL improved since opening and is not bad compared to other United IFLs.

I don't think you will have any problems with the IFL as long as your boarding pass is F.

Access no problem

I did SFO ZRH last week in F and had no problem accessing the IFL. Upon exit they escort you to a seperate security check (no line) to get to your connection gate. They also have limo service in case the plane has a remote position.

Back to SFO from FRA tomorrow Sunday.

Best,

It looks like there is a ton of availability within next week or two, but after that it is zeroed.

Jano,

you seem to obviously know a lot about Swiss. I will be traveling in December. Do you know if all planes going sfo-zrh will be new configuration C? Do you think this new configuration is much better than LH C?

Last old-config plane on SFO-ZRH will fly this thursday on July 1st. After that, only new planes. It is much more confortable than LH C. Enjoy your december flight!

I can upgrade to UA F SFO-FRA. What do you think? Is SFO-ZRH in C better than UA F?

Actually not. No way to stay any hour longer than needed in the US this time. I did of course fly back right in time to see the German soccer team playing Argentina and winning 4:0 last Saturday. ^

For the records: No problem to access the IFL with the LX F BP. But unlike at LAX no escrort offer to the lounge and no escort from the lounge. I don't need it at SFO of course, but I was surprised to see they don't even offer it.

LX seems to be enhancing the escort service away. No service at PVG either 3 weeks ago . And no letter from the station manager either. Is this new?
Seems like SQ introduced that "welcome aboard letter" on it's A380 flights as well. Got one recently including the invitation to the private room, but never got one on my SQ 77W flights in F

What do people think about UA F vs. LX C? I hear that some people are not very impressed with LX C food (though UA's food is nothing to write home about). What do people think?

I always decline the escort anyway, but I was surprised that it wasn't even offered in SFO. They didn't bother pointing out what lounges I could use either.

UA F vs LX c

I also have an option of using miles to upgrade to LX F or just using an SWU to go to UA F. what do people think?
