compare hotels
I wish their was a place where hotel's in the same city were compared by people who had stayed at 2 or more. I can find reviews of, for example, the Marriott Gran Flora, the Westin Excelsior in Rome, but it's hard to know which would be preferred over the other.

People often ask this question about a specific locale in the forum for that place. For example, if you go to the Argentina forum, there are lots of threads discussing and comparing hotels in Buenos Aires. In your case, the Italy forum would be the place to ask (and to search, in case anyone answered the same or a related question earlier, or there's a thread it would make sense to use rather than starting a new one).
