why was this thread moved to a forum where I cannot follow-up???

well since I can't see the thread I have to ask, how could it be any more political than some of the other threads in that forum????

The only 2nd class posters are the people that reply to posts, yet say nothing.
While you've very quickly generated a high post count, it takes time until you're allowed to view Omni. Until then, you should contribute to the conversation at hand ... miles and points.

I don't really care about access to omni. I didn't even know it existed until recently. I merely wanted to add follow-up info from the local news to the story I linked. While I don't know how heated the thread became, there are many other threads in that forum that are very political and they have not been moved. some consideration for the OP of a post should be made when a post is moved (IMHO).

FWIW, I agree with this. Personally I dont think any post should be moved out of reach of someone who has posted on it. It is true also from what I have seen that some threads get moved way too fast.
