This "no thanks" button wouldn't, by chance, have a lock on it, would it?

I've never been a huge fan of "Ignore User" on boards. I'm not sure if this implementation (version) has fixed this problem, but every time I've ignored a user on another board using this same software (older version), it still tells me that there's a post by that user, but it shields me and gives me a message that I've ignored that user.

Then I start wondering what that user said. And I read the message.

And anyone quoting that user shows up along with the quote, blowing by the whole point of "Ignore User" in the first place.

Maybe I'll have to try it out to see if it's implemented better.

I'll save you the suspense: it's not.

Seems like this board software has a pretty standard ignore feature that is used on many different sites. No different here.

I have spent the last 18 minutes reading the entire thread. I found the thread linked in the OP to be very interesting. I only found two posts that were probably post padding and they were made by Nexus888. Wait! what is this? Nexus888 is the one complaining? Why would Nexus888 complain about his/her own posting style? Someone might need a therapist on this one, it is beyond me to explain this unusual behaviour.
