Angry Ax Tribalfusion

Please, Flyertalk, won't you get rid of the Tribalfusion incessant ads?
I've sent my husband, the computer guru, all the information on getting rid of it but he has not been moved to do anything and I doubt that I can do what is required. Also, since he doesn't go on FT he doesn't realize how very annoying this ad, that comes on with EVERY click, is! Please, let's start a petition or something.

A suggestion by Randy (and one which I agree with) on a similar topic...

We'll try and track that ad down to delete and maybe someone else knows which ad it is and make the search easier.

For work, you might consider this option (ad-free FlyerTalk). It's a great way to eliminate any problems at work all together:

Thanks for letting us know and thinks for your support of FlyerTalk.

Cheers,

That's odd... I don't like the tribalfusion ads either, but they only come on once in a while, and only when I'm on FT. Sounds like there's something else going on in that thar com-poo-terr.

I just subscribed to Inside Flyer for one year. The best $12 I've ever spent! The tibalfusion ads that came up on every Flyertalk page are GONE!

Solution is simple. Get a new husband.

I use the Google pop-up blocker and I only get one newly spawned window when I first go to the FT website. It sits in the background and isn't obtrusive at all. I just go about my FT business and when done, I close the tribalfusion window. No big deal.

No big deal, but it still bugs the heck out of me. I did subscribe to Inside Flyer, which nicely gets rid of all the ads expect that blasted Tribalfusion one that pops up the second I go onto FT, before I can log on. I've tried all the various suggestions, and have popup blockers properly loaded and working, but nothing will get rid of it. Randy, you really need to ax this ad.

I have the Google/ Earthlink pop-up blocker & one other (McAfee?) which shows a red fist. Trouble is, when I first click on Jump to Forum, the red fist blocks both the list of forums & the Tribalfusion window as if they were one & the same pop-up . When I hit Ctrl to allow, then I get both--if I am using IE. Firefox knows the difference & blocks tribalfusion but not the list of forums!

Now that I'm an Inside Flyer subscriber I've taken a look at it twice and guess what? Tribalfusion pop-ups galore [excuse me, Pucci]! So this seems to be some sort of diabolical circle. I subscribed to IF to get rid of TF ads on FT and I did but now I get them if I try to read IF!
