Any official position on this? Come on - we know you guys read these! I don't care what the answer is, I'd just like to know one way or the other.

Pay up.
The forum took a vacation because I was facing being on the road traveling 4 of 5 straight weeks. As i by my own rule, don't travel with laptop (unless for a presentation somewhere) I would have been subject to some questions asked that would have gone unanswered or ignored for that period. The week i was in the office would likely have been taken up by normal business demands from my employees and others and it likely would have been again, difficult to answer any questions. As it is, i think there is a question or two to be answered and i plan on getting to them the next day or so.
As noted by another poster on this thread, often times other members want to answer questions asked of me and frank;y by the time I get to it there's so much other stuff that it takes too much effort for any member to actually read.
So, when i face a demanding travel agenda, I'm likely to give the forum a vacation until i return and can give it my attention. Hope that sounds reasonable to you.
