Search Function on Main Page

Is there a reason we do not have a search function on the front page? One that is just a quick search. I know that all you have to do is roll the mouse over the Forums and click on Search, however as a fairly new member I know it took me a while to find the search function. Almost every new poster gets told to try a search several times when they ask a question yet it is not easy to find.

I am just asking because it will take the heartache off of the FT regulars who get mad when someone ask a previously awnsered question.

First, what do you consider the "Front Page". I know lots of FTers have different things bookmarked. Personally, my link to FT goes to MyFlyerTalk ( http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/usercp.php ).

There, I have a title bar that has the following options:
|MyFlyerTalk| |FAQ| |Calendars| |New| |Posts| |Search| |Quick Links| |Log Out|

If you need help w/ setting up the MyFlyerTalk, Canarsie put together the info in this wiki.

I hope that helps.

I will move this to Suggestions as that is the more appropriate place for this.
