why not reorg the regional forums based on thread count?
For a while I was slightly irked by the fact that HK got its own forum, whereas China and India did not. After 1+ years of the current organization, I've grown to accept and appreciate that China doesn't get enough attention to justify its own forum.
However, I fear that many posts in forums like HK get lost in space because many of us never bother to look there. In fact, many, if not most, HK visitors consult with the Asia Miles forum in order to get advice.
In short, I think the current structure misses the boat by highlighting certain areas and broadbrushing others. Therefore, the community might be best served by a reallignment.
