At least once a month, someone on the NYC forum asks for the web addresses for the various sites that offer discounts to Broadway and Off Broadway shows.

I see that the NYC forum has no moderator, so I am posting here to make the suggestion that it might be nice to have a sticky at the top of that forum that would provide a link to the various websites.

and I know that myself, cordelli, analise, Marysunshine, GadgetFreak and several others have responded to similar questions (like the one jailer asked about Broadway discounts) on many occasions....

I was thinking more like a sticky entitled: "Helpful sites to search for Broadway and other NYC Theater tickets" and then have the content just be a list of the sites, several of which I have referred to, including:

www.playbill.com
www.broadwaybox.com
www.schooltix.com
www.tdf.org
www.broadway.com

In case that doesn't sound appealing, it could also be an ongoing sticky that could be added to, where FTers could post the deals and codes they find (though that could run amok with reviews and other info that might be a distraction).


Just a thought, as there does seem to be a request for Broadway info (whether it be discounts, specific shows, or any other questions) on a pretty steady basis.
