Chat: please bring back the AC icon
Please bring back the AC "Maple Leaf" rondel icon for FT Chat. While I'm not a big AC fan by any stretch, the original icon still looks a thousand times better than the new Aeroplan icon that replaced it! IMHO, the new one looks terrible!

Ditto the above. At least it's recognizeable, while what may be the Aeroplan icon that's replaced it, is not.

I second the motion (considering that for airline boards on FT, the Air Canada one is 4th largest, behind AA, DL and UA in terms of both threads and posts).
Then again, I don't know what the two have to do with each other, but I'm tired.

Please bring out the AC Logo. It is wonderfully useful to identify the Canadians in chat.

John at Webflyer answered my question re the icon,in the Technical Issues forum, saying that Aeroplan requested the change of icon.
My point is: I can understand using the AP icon for last week's FT chat with RD, but now that the chat is over, why not go back to the easily recognizable AC icon. Most of the airlines in FT chat use the airline's readily identifiable logo, not that of the airline's frequent flyer plan.

I am going to bump this thread up and link it to a new thread in the 'Only Randy Peterson' Forum...
I really don't like the Aeroplan logo at all, and it doesn't seem as though anyone ever uses it... I would love to have the malple leaf back.
Please, if this wouldn't be too much of a problem? We've all been behaving on the AC forum for quite some time
.
Thanks.
