Archive OMNI Posts
Can we please have any posts in OMNI that are over 6 months old deleted or archived?
There is a lot of traffic everyday on OMNI, and I can't help but think it would ease congestion and save disk space to have the older posts removed.

What?? Then how will the "offended" people bump old posts in order to protest others bumping old posts?

So vitally important educational gems like the plethora of Word Association threads would get closed too 6 months after getting commenced?
Or just "selected" threads in OMNI? "Selected" by whom?
Or just threads commenced by "selected" Flyertalkers, which to me clearly is what this thread is all about.
And is this interesting "Suggestion" valid for all FT Fora?

OK, archived instead of deleted. They should be archived with the same criteria that's used on the miles side of the house.
If the WAT falls off, start a new one.

The ONLY way to end the incessant bumping is to Archive from the START date.
Otherwise, MANY, MANY threads will be bumped at 5 Months, 29 Days.
IMO, that would work fine for all forums.
