Expand Credit Card Category to Include All Financial Products
Please consider expanding the "Credit Card" category to include all financial products. It would make it much easier to find information concerning savings bonds, debit cards, mileage-earning bank accounts, mileage-earning brokerage accounts, mortgages, etc.

Nice suggestion - as long as you support us moving threads from MilesBuzz! into this forum as they occur since i agree all these topics are complimentary and can feed off each other.

Yes, I would support moving those threads (past and present). Right now this info is scattered all over the place (including SPAM and various airline forums), and centralizing it would certainly be more user-friendly.

I've never been satisfied that savings bond/mileage schemes belongs in MileBuzz. At one time they were certainly Buzzworthy, but many of the new postings recently were related to interest rate changes, and now where to cash in bonds.
A board tied to financial products could be valuable. Of course that doesn't mean a "new" financial product with mileage or points opportunities couldn't be Buzzworthy. either.

What about some sort of general category under Credit Cards? In the past week I've seen numerous credit card threads on MilesBuzz: the best, the cheapest, card A or B, A and B, Citi You, BAA, etc. None of these fit "the latest FF program buzz..." criteria. It might make it easier for people to find the info they need instead of starting another thread - in many cases, the responses are similar.

Another bump, since there has been recent talk of adding some new forums. I have noted numerous savings bond threads scattered near and far in the past week or so. And moving threads would be easier now with all of the new moderators on duty.
