Any chance of an FT IM client...
Would be nice to set it to a region/or an airport and see if anyone else is online... Optional for those who want to publish where they are.

The idea's a good one, but not through IM clients. ... there are enough of those already and there's a place for ICQ number in FT profiles. If the FT web site kept track of all those logged on and had some way for us to indicate current location, that would be great.

I use Trillian now because I can combine ICQ, AIM, MSN, etc.... all into one nifty client

I already have over 60 FT members in IM, just email the people you know and ask if they are on it.
