"subscribe" to certain groups

I really only care about half a dozen groups on this FlyerTalk (which is a fabulous site, and worthy of praise). It would be nice if there was a way to ignore the existence of certain groups to make it easier to find the relevant ones.

I can sympathize with this as I'm frequently overwhelmed by the number of topics we have up here. We'll take this into consideration for a future upgrade.

No one has asked for this since 1999?

I sure would love this! I use it on edmunds and it sure saves a lot of time.

For you it would be a tradeoff of processing time vs. network time? It would be more costly to figure out what to show someone, but would certainly cut the amount of HTML data you send to users by a large amount.
