Post Counts

Well, I always like to see my middle-sized count, but many problems over several years on these boards have been caused by folks concentrating on hyping their post counts.

Is there some good commercial reason for keeping track of this?

If not, I suggest that this is a "feature" we do not need. Thanks.

I think the post count is useful for getting a feel for how active someone has been - admittedly it doesn't indicate the quality of particpation but its not bad.
