Why was my post removed?
Last night, I posted a thread in MilesBuzz! inquiring about the evacuation at ORD. About an hour (and a few replies later), the post disappeared.
Can a moderator explain why it was removed?
Thanks,
Lawrence

Uhm, I'm not a moderator, and I'm just a making a guess, but maybe it was removed because it doesn't fit this description for milesbuzz:
"Discussion of the latest frequent flyer program buzz..."

I'm going to assume Randy Petersen or one of his staffers moved it to the "Misplaced" board (I have not moved anything to that board since it was incepted, BTW). Randy is trying a new strategy to help ensure that posts end up in the proper place. Once a post is moved to "Misplaced", one of his staff will again move it to a proper permanent home (hopefully once per day this process will occur). The new home should be one that fits within each board's published description.
This process is still in its infant stage.

I think this process is very awkward and disconcerting.
Reorganizing FT just a bit would solve the problem of misposting in the first place.
Please see my comments in a separate Suggestions thread. Thanks!
