TalkMail (Who's on First?)

Sorry, not a suggestion, but I wasn't sure where to post this. Who is "in charge of," "responsible for," "whatever" TalkMail. I've looked everywhere and can't find out who's "on first." I would like to e-mail someone but don't know who that would be. I thought first of Bryan, but he's not there anymore, is he? Who would the point of contact be?

That would be Melissa Dinger. You can reach her at [email protected].

As an FYI, TalkMail is published every other Tuesday. You can sign up from the webflyer homepage or by clikcing on the talkmail logo found in FlyerTalk.

Is there a "Talk Mail" going out at the present time? I signed up to get it on the first day possible and have so far heard/received nothing. I actually thought that the idea might have left with Bryan!!!

it seems that Webflyer had a computer problem with the first subscribers - all of them had to subscribe a second time.

Yes, Rudi is right. If you signed up but haven't received an issue yet, try signing up again. TalkMail is published every other week.

Well, this explains it. I too had thought TalkMail had died with Bryan. (Not that Bryan died, but you know what I mean....)

I've just re-signed up.

I also dug through the TalkMail archive to catch up on what I've missed, and it looks like some maintenance needs to be done there.

First of all, the most recent issue posted is Dec 7. (Granted, there may have been a holiday hiatus, but certain the talking hasn't stopped on FlyerTalk.)

Second, the posted Nov 22 issue (Issue 2) is actually a duplicate of the first issue. When you click on Issue 2, the table of contents is for the Nov 22 issue, but the actual text of the issue is from Issue 1. Make sense? I wouldn't mind seeing the real Issue 2 at some point.

Anything new on the proposed "rebirth" of Talk Mail?

You're all going to love the answer to this. In mid-August, we are bringing back TalkMail with the orginal editor. Bryan Sacks will be rejoining us for this exclusive purpose. Those of you will remember that Bryan was the perfect person for what TalkMail needs to be.....so watch that email box...the best days are coming back,

Thanks and welcome back bryan!

Is that going to be "bks" or possibly "Bryan at Webflyer"?

Can the retired moniker be pulled down from the rafters at the House of Miles?

for Bryan's return. Welcome back, bud.

Curious...I signed up twice, received 3-4 TalkMails, then haven't gotten any since. Guess I'll try again...

Will "TalkMail" ever be revived?

If so, anytime soon?

Thanks!
