Where to go after a post?

After I post a new topic or reply, I generally want to go back to the category I was reading and continue reading from where I left off.

It seems, however, that the system takes me baaack too faaar.

For example, I just replied to a topic on Page 2 of the AA list. After I was done, the system routed me to the bottom of the topic to which I just replied...

But where I really want to go is back to the AA thread list...which I can do with another click...but then it still takes me back to P1 of the AA categories, not to the specific place/page I was previously on.

That's my beef/complaint: bring me back to the page I was on before I stared my post/reply...and if that has to take two clicks, bring me to the right page, not the top of the whole category itself.

I suspect the big problem is that they don't control the base technology/site, so they can only make changes that are on the menu of options from their site provider.

This may not be such a change.

Spell check is such an available option (which I NEED)...but I guess for cost reasons it didn't make it on to the new rerlease...even though I heard it would.

They must charge for spell check as a feature?

Well, I find it useful to be taken to the posting I just made to see how it looks as posted. I read it over one more time to see if I missed any spelling errors or made any formatting errors I need to correct. To each his own, I guess. <shrug>
