Spell check feature and editing subject line.

In the past, Randy said that the new board would have a spell check feature. Is this still in the works?

Also will we be able to edit the subject line of our posts after our threads appear on the boards?

On newer versions of UBB, the person who started the thread can edit the subject line by clicking on "edit post" on the first post in the thread.

Perhaps when the moderator 10 group is put into action, subject lines that have spelling mistakes can be edited by them via a note from the subject line creator asking to have the mistake corrected?

We can and will edit subject lines right now if someone so requires it. As noted, it has been more of a function of available features than a decision by FlyerTalk. While it is availabel in new versions of the software, newer versions don't perform as well as the version we have under heavy posting loads and we've opted for performance over things like that. If and when we find new versions and enhancements that can perform under load stress which this board offers, we can and will introduce them for the benefit of the members. Hope this helps, and again, you all can edit your subject lines - simply let us lmpw what the typo is.

What about the spell check feature that Randy had mentioned in his live chats that was supposed to be included in the new board.

P.S. You had a typo in your reply that could have used it.
