Looks like the "New Member" level has changed back to to "Junior Member" again. I just noticed it but it may have been since the rebuild.

Can we go back to "New Member"?

Randy has said (somewhere) that this is supposed to fixed soon. It may not be the top priority at this moment, but the "New Member", "Member", and "FT Evangelist" monikers will return. No worries!

Just out of curiousity (not because it actually _matters_), I noticed that today the "member status" doesn't show at all for anyone. Is this a transition period?

let me clear this up. The process of change requires updating some 560,000 posts on FlyerTalk - no small feat. It is one of the nagging glitches we had in re-introducing the new boards and rather than hold back another few days for this to be fixed, we opted to clean it up later since it doesn't actually interfere with the process of posting and exchanging information of FlyerTalk. When we complete these changes over the next week or so, we are ending the practice of listing members as 'members' and 'new members'. This was an installed function of the software from the box, rather than something we installed. We will however continue with the practice of honoring select members with the FlyerTalk Evangelist title, because it's not anything we feel is right to take away from those who have been noted as such over the last year or two.
