Name alerts?
Here is a nice feature I'd lie to see:
Email alerts if someone else mentions me (my handle) in any post in any thread.
Ok, searching all threads is heavy work, and often handles are common words, and as such would yield many false positives.
So: I suggest adding a new UBB tag: [Handle]matjes[/handle]. If this appears in any message, the system would retrieve a setting in my (matjes's) profile to see whether I really want to be alerted, and if so send me an email similar to the reply alert.
This would require cooperation from whoever mentions me in their post, but once people get used to it, this feature would serve to alert anyone of they are referenced in any thread they did not start (or even comment in yet) so they can respond.
