In light of all the goings on her lately, I am wondering if there is any way that FT can offer some kind of identity verification program. A while back I signed up for a Thawte digital signature. They have a program whereby you can get a digital signature for email encryption. To start with, your signature only identifies you as a "Thawte freemail member." However, by meeting other members and presenting them with your identifying documents, it is possible to get a signature which verifys your real identity. I wonder if this is technically possible for FT? I am not a techie, and maybe there is a better way to do this. I am just thinking that it may be time for some more clarity about who is really who! Any suggestions on how to achieve this would be welcome.
