Most Active Topics since last Log-on
I love your "click here for todays active topics" feature, but I often miss part of the thread if I log on at 8:30pm and then not again until 7:00am the next morning. Worse is the situation where I'm not able to sign on for a day or two.
Any chance of setting up a feature to allow us to check up on active topics since our last log on? I know that I can go through each subject seperatly, but a one click solution would be awesome!

A couple of us requested this a few weeks ago but we are still waiting for another update.

James,
I never saw your origianl post - most likley because I was following the "todays most active topics" and missed your thread.
Great minds must work alike since when I just linked to your topic, it looks like I stole the words right out of your mouth. Sorry, it really was unintentional.

Please don't apolgise - I didn't take any offence and I am not worried aout duplication of the thread. I'm just happy that people agree with the idea. I really just wanted you to know that Webflyer knew of the idea and to point you in the direction of Michael's comments.

Sounds like a pretty good idea. I'll look into it and see if we can implement something like that.

Yes, please do this soon! It especially useful for when you are in Europe. If you last check at 5pm, it is only 11am EST, and then by the time you come in the next morning, it is the next day in the States as well. It just takes too much effort to click on each heading to see the subjects.

If providing a customized active topics since an individual user last "logged in" is proving to be more difficult than expected, perhaps there's an easier to provide function that would serve many people's needs. Just giving me the active topics since yesterday 12:01am would suffice. That way, I know I can catch all the active threads if I just check FT every day at any time during the day. Only providing active threads since 12:01am today means that I need to check as late at night as possible, plus then if everybody does the same thing, many of the posts will then occur late at night, and possibly missed by somebody who wasn't willing to stay up until 11:59pm.
A similar spin would be to provide the active topics in the last N hours, rather than using day boundaries at all.

I want it !!
