Boards for Airlines w/o FF Programs
I think there should be boards for airlines without Frequent Flyer programs. Either one large board for all of them, or individual boards for each airline.
Airlines without FF Programs:
American Trans Air
Eastwind Airlines (although they've suspended service right now)
Pro Air
Spirit airlines
Sun Country
Midway Airlines
Frontier Airlines
Even though Midway and Frontier give miles in AA Advantage and CO One Pass (respectively), it would be good to have a board to talk about those airlines.
What do you think?

In general I am opposed to creating many different forums which will likely have little postings and will clutter up the screen. But then I have been thinking of creating my own page with links to just the forums I read, so having additional forums might be ok (I would not be reading any of the ones mentioned, so I would not add links to these on my page).

I see you point pgupta. I guess there can be one BIG forum for all these, called the "Airlines without FF programs forum". Along those lines, they could consolidate forums which have only a few postings (Air Tran, Aer Lingus, some other int'l airlines, to name a few) into one forum.

This has been discussed at considerable length and with great frequency in the past.
I think the bottom line was that 1. This is a board about frequent flyer programs rather than air travel so that non-program airlines need not be included. 2. Randy Petersen wants this borad to be global and a resource for everyone, so currently little used forums will be there and established when people fom those countries come along and wants to start using them.
I think I have been persuaded that both of tghose positions are correct.

Then is the discontinued program Passages really necessary?

That might be a problem with what people choose to post, rather than the board.

I don't see the sense in creating areas for airlines without frequent flyer programs on a board that is specifically about frequent flyer programs.

....Although it would make sense to create a ClickRewards forum.
