"Show topics" default

"Show topics" default
Can you please adjust the default under "show topics" to something more than two days? Because I only check this site once or twice a week, I have to adjust the default for every single thread I look at (and I usually check out four or five each time). This is an annoyance.

Just change your preferences (Flyer Talk menu) to 5 days and the cookie will take care of the rest. I honestly don't know what the default is but it probably is more than 2 days because when I access the site at remote locations I get more than my default number of days of messages.

I second Roti's suggestion. Cookies are disabled on my browser as a matter of principle. I don't want to re-enable them for this. The old 20-day setting was too long for regular participants, but how about 5 as a reasonable compromise?
