Porter Airlines Thread
With Porter Airlines growing its network with its EMB195-E2s, I think it is time to start a "Porter Airlines/VIP Porter" forum!
Porter Airlines also has close relationship with Alaska Airlines and many people are asking about actual onboard services and continued expanded network. It is clear that Porter will be around for a while and can I suggest that we start a Porter Airlines forum?

My two cents as a longtime occasional reader of the Porter thread... I will agree that the 2,000-post mega-thread is very difficult to follow, and there should probably be a few different threads.
But creating an entire forum seems over the top given the relatively low level of traffic. There are a little over 100 posts per year in that thread (2,062 posts in just under 19 years). AM and AR each have several times as much activity, but remain within the Other North & South American Airlines forum. Even with the flurry of posts around the ramp-up of E2 operations, there were fewer than 250 Porter posts last year. Excluding discussion about creating a Porter forum, it's only about 15 YTD this year. The WS forum has many times as much activity, and still feels fairly lightly trafficked. A Porter forum where even most of the threads on the first page were months old seems like it would feel very empty.
It appears to me, at this stage, the next step in reflecting Porter's evolution should be to create some new threads to allow better visibility and discussion on specific issues than they get within the mega-thread, rather than adding yet another forum.

I don't know if there is possible to create new Porter Airlines forums. I suggest you can ask SanDiego1K or NWIFlyer. See if she can approved it or not. So I don't know about that. I don't think they have enough members who posts on the forums.
