This problem cannot be replicated. If it can't be replicated, it can't be fixed. If you're still having problems and would like for us to look into it further, I need the following information:

The browser type (i.e. Firefox, IE, Safari) and its version, along with the search criteria entered.

It was replicated by web support while I was on the phone with them, but maybe I described it wrong here. I just tried it at work (different computer, different OS) and got the same result - so let me describe it better.

Using IE8 (8.0.6001.18702) under XP or IE8 (8.0.6001.18999) under Vista Ultimate (both updated to current patches)
go to www.starwoodhotels.com
click on "search options"
click on "address"
enter 77 wall street, new york, new york, usa - for 2/16/10 to 2/17/10
click "find now"
First listing is W New York - Times Square
(NOTE: It says it is .13 km from 77 Wall Street, but that is just a form - it is acutally .13km from center of New York, and about 6 km from 77 wall street. In fact, the distance next to all the hotels in the list is distance from center of New York, not distance from 77 wall. The correct answer is "W New York - Downtown which is #16 on the list and claims to be 5.94 km from 77 Wall Street)

Error message when changing award reservations
 
For the last week, I've been attempting to use spg.com change the credit card number associated with my upcoming award reservations because my credit card was recently stolen, so I now have a new number. Every time I click through the last screen to confirm the change, I get an error message that the reservations system is temporarily down. I've called the reservations desk, and they have the same problem--the agents say that the reservations system is spitting out an error message requesting some SPG W? promotion code. These are existing award stays and all I'm trying to do is update the credit card number.

Weather forecast for stay summary incorrect
 
Stay booked for July, but the weather forecast at the bottom looks like it's from today's date. No way Whistler is 1 - 11 Celcius in July!

It looks to me as if the high temp is 51.4 below 0F. :p

I know that this is petty, but I don't understand why some websites are now showing a forecast with tenths of a degree. wunderground.com is doing the same now.

logged into my acct on SPG.com trying to book a room.

Select the room and the rate, and it goes to "Step 1 Guest Information" it has all the details on my resi, my spg #, the rate, etc. I click "Review Your Reservation" at the bottom and it keeps going back to the same Step 1 page with an error message stating to "please review the fields in red. Make necessary changes, then try again"

There is NOTHING in red. NOTHING to change.

Cant get passed this part.

any ideas? anyone else having this problem?

Yes, I had this exact same problem earlier this year. Although it seemed to be specific to one property. I called SPG three times to complain, although in fairness I was probably just talking to someone at a reservation calls centre. So I emailed tech support to ask for help. I got an email acknowledgement, then never heard back. Quite disappointing, frankly.

It sort of fixed itself, in the sense I went into my personal account information, found a couple of mistakes - can't even remember what, maybe credit card expiration or address or something - and fixed them. I know these mistakes weren't there earlier, as I have been a long time member with an up-to-date account. Somehow there was a glitch, is all I can conclude. Once I got all my account details right it, the booking tool was ok.

Having the same issue trying to book the Sheraton Lisbon for a Cash & Points stay. Tried on the web site and on their mobile app and got the same problem. Hmm....

I am used to having bookings for which I cannot see the details, due to a Platinum upgrade, but this is one of the few times when the booking is not even listed on SPG. So, I contacted the help desk and got a confirmation that my booking for the W Barcelona was indeed on record. Except that it is for the Sheraton Malpensa ;). Hopefully, this will work out.

Here is a workaround until this gets fixed:

Select Brazil as the Country
Select one of the states offered as a choice for State
Re-Select State as the State
Select Curitiba as the City
Select Four Points by Sheraton Curitiba

I've tested this and it works for me.

My upcoming and cancelled stays are gone...

Both times:

"No stays linked to this account were found."

Didn't get a confirmation also for a right now booked stay...

Got the confirmation right now, but still:

"Sie verfügen derzeit über keine Reservierungen bei uns."
