It's heart-warming when good things happen to good people.

Incredibly well deserved, William.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to William and to Starwood for supporting him and the field of online customer support.

May many other companies follow their lead (and may William and Starwood stay in the lead )

What an outstanding recognition for William! May William's sr. executives appreciate fully how much his work is valued by Starwood's "most valued guests".

Congratulations, William! Well-deserved recognition indeed.

Speaking of recognition, let's also not forget the company that put him here in the first place, Starwood. I'm sure the reasons for their winning most of the hotel awards at the Freddies and for their having a Starwood Lurker in these fora are no happenstance. In both cases, it's called customer service par excellence.

All that I can add is, in addition to not wearing the tiara, please don't let them change your title to Colonel. Major, Lt., General, anything else is fine, and we'll call you that.

I was there last night when William received his special award & also when Starwood basically swept most of the Freddies in its category. Have to admit the thought of switching over from Hilton is starting to cross my mind. Congrats William. Well-deserved. Cheers.

PS - And it was very cool that techgirl's quote when she voted was voiced by Randy at the beginning of the presentation to William.

PSS - And while the FTers might have started the standing ovation, the entire room rose up either at the same time or within a few seconds afterwards in honor of Sir William.
