Does 5th night free award apply to awards made with the new promos?

Does 5th night free award apply to awards made with the new promos?
Specifically, the 50% off award—So, if I book four nights at the Kauai Princeville normally at 10k/night, (with my award it is now 5k/night) will I still get the fifth night free? Or do you need to pay full point price for this to happen?

Thanks for the question, SLC2002. An award from the Redeeming is Believing promotion would be a separate award from a Preferred (free) Night Award. While you can combine these awards on the same stay, the 5th night free would not count unless you were actually stying 6 total nights and used the Preferred (free) Night Award for 5 nights.

I assume the original poster has an incorrect assumption, too. The post mentions staying 4 nights at 5K points per night. I don't think that's possible. Aren't the awards for only one night each, and you can only earn 3 of them maximum? So, you could at most have 3 "half off points" nights in the first place.
