Quarterly promotion?

Quarterly promotion?
I'm normally a Hilton guy. Hilton always has a quarterly promotion, which is usually some variation on double points if you register for the promotion. I have searched these threads and the Starwood website to see if there is anything similar. I have a stay booked in a couple of weeks, and I want to be sure to register for any available promotion. Apologies for the newbie question, but if there is any promo I could register for, could someone please point me in the right direction?

In general, SPG runs about three major promos a year, so nothing you could really call a quarterly promo.
