I stayed a year ago in January for one night.
Nice four points. Very clean with friendly service. I had a view of the beach, regular room. I didn't eat at the restaurant or use any facilities.
You can walk to the casinos or get a bus that goes down the beach strip.
It's a bit of a pain to get to if your driving because the roads around there are really confusing. Also be careful trying to cross the street.
I-110 is right next to the hotel, but you can't hear it. The design of the highway basically has it ending IN the gulf, what a waste of beachfront property. The casinos are also built on the water, so the beaches aren't of much use in that direction. Heading west the beaches looked better.
Not too many regular restaurants walking distance that aren't in casinos. I ate at the Oyster House, which had awesome grilled oysters.
Hope this helps.
