Anyone know when starwood opens up rooms?
I have been going to the Westin in St. John for 4 years now on the same dates. Nov. 10 - Nov. 20. I use points to stay in one of the Villas as I have two young kids. I have never had a problem booking the room as this is not a peak time. I booked 5 nights a while back and was waiting for some more points to post to book the remaining 4 nights. I have been checking weekly and plenty of rooms available. Well, I now have enough points to book the next 5 nights and it is all the sudden showing sold out, no rooms even for cash. Any suggestions? It is had for me to believe that all the sudden this property is completely sold out. Is there a certain time were they take inventory down and then put it back up later? Any help would be geatly appreciated.
