Sheraton Cairo during the unrest
At the Sheraton Cairo today-- on a higher floor suite in the Towers but with the demonstration on the road the tear gas was easily felt--so had to stay inside and make the best of the Nile view and follow the unrest.

Seems we won't here anything from ac777 pretty soon. Internet in Egypt is shut down. Hope ac777 will stay save.

Thank you. The internet was down from Sunday am Cairo time till we got emergency evacuation flight from the Canadian Government. Now at the Sheraton FRA airport and boy am I relieved!!( Did post my experiences in the ac7003 thread on Aeroplan. So won't bore you with the details.)
