I hope one of William's surprises will be that from January this $10/night surcharge will be waived for SPG Plats...after all, Hilton Titanium Diamonds don't get this surcharge for being safe & secure!!!

If it is a tax payable to the US govt, unlikely. But SPG will cover the fee for those who choose to purchase a print of their Heavenly Scan to take home to their loved ones. And Plats will get a free frame!

There should be a differentiation between this new super-elite tier and its competitors, surely something discussed extensively in SPG's offices.

This calendar would be legendary. Men draped over a Heavenly bed of white tea leaves.

Since no one has suggested it yet, TSA checkpoints at all hotel lobbies to keep you safe! You will be checked going in and out.
