Comparison of Continental One Pass with Select Star Alliance Programs

To get the discussion going and to refine the known benefits of One Pass, a preliminary comparison chart (we won't know details until One Pass is a Star Program) of existing Continental One Pass program with select Star Alliance elite programs can be found at:

Seems the upgrade scheme works well for those flying in higher paid fare classes but not for long haul transoceanic (please correct if this is a wrong impression garnered from this thread):

I'm not sure exactly what "upgrade scheme" you're talking about. That thread was someone asking about free elite upgrades on transoceanic flights. I don't believe that's part of any *A carrier's program, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks! ^ Always staying one step ahead obviously.

Just one tiny detail: M&M miles also don't expire for HONs, not just SENs and FTLs.

If you go further down the thread to post 24 and beyond they get past the op-up focus and onto how hard it is to upgrade into Business First on long-hauls . . . (some even going so far as to call it bait and switch or fraudulent!)
